Customer Database and Fax Automation

The purpose of this project is to automate the process of composing and dispatching the communication via fax. The product is an independent system that addresses the Fax communication business need of the client.

Fax Automation Scope

   Maintainable customer database.

   Fax scheduling.

   Dispatching a Fax through a Fax machine.

   Maintaining a record of Faxes sent including time of sending.

   Maintenance of record of Faxes that could not be sent.

   Fax resend scheduling.

Product Features

Customer Database

This feature allows the user to maintain a database of customers. The system allows you to add a new record, modify an existing record detail or delete a record. The record details shall include Customer's first name, last name, phone number, fax number, company name, email id and the category under which you would like to file this record. These categories are predefined by the software.

Fax Transmission

This feature allows you to select a list of customers to whom you wish to send the fax, decide the date and time when the fax/faxes are to be sent. If a Fax transmission is not successful then two more consecutive attempts will be made. If all three attempts are unsuccessful, then the Fax will be classified as Unsent Fax in the Fax Report database.
